Alison has worked in palliative medicine since 2013, completing training in both WA and NSW. She has worked across a range of services in both private and public hospitals in consultancy, inpatient and outpatient capacities. She has been Director of Hospice and Palliative Care Services at St John of God Murdoch Community Hospice since February 2018, and continues to work at Royal Perth Hospital as a palliative medicine specialist. Alison is also the visiting specialist with the Kimberley Palliative Care Service, providing specialist support for rural and remote patients along with education for health care professionals and the community as part of this role.
